About Coach E.

George Escalante (Coach E.) has extensive training and experience in trauma and trauma recovery for those who work in service to others.  He was a contributor to the search and recovery efforts at "ground zero" in New York, after the 9/11 attacks.  George also served on the recovery medical team in Haiti after the 2021 earthquake.   In addition, he has served on various mission trips to South Korea, Haiti, and Belize.

 

Coach E. is currently a full-time Resiliency/Wellness Advocate for Salem Health as well as the lead chaplain for the Salem Police Department and Salem Fire Department.

Coach E. is a resident of Salem, OR.  He has been married for over 38 years and has two children and four grandchildren.
